What does it Mean to me to be a Master Gardener?
I have been a master gardener for over ten years and have learned many great things along my personal journey. For me, being a master gardener is more than just being a plant enthusiast. It means supporting your community by teaching others about horticulture and saving the planet one garden at a time.
Becoming a master gardener volunteer with our county extension service has allowed me to pursue my life’s vision by continuing to learn and to teach others about gardening. Through this platform, I plan to further this mission by teaching sustainable home gardening in a way that benefits the body, mind and spirit.
