Short Story & Flash Fiction
I enjoy writing flash fiction and short stories and some have been published in The Emerald Coast Review published in “The Emerald Coast Review XX and XXII.” I am currently working on a book called Common Ground about relationships between mothers and daughters coupled with gardening metaphors and factual information for gardeners and wannabe gardeners.
As for my published pieces, my favorite piece that I have written is “A Gardener’s Faith”, which was published as part of the anthology “Nobis II” among many other esteemed authors from the Pensacola, Florida chapter of the National League of American Pen Women.
Poetry
In my writing journey, I have found a particular love for the art of poetry. Most of my works center around gardening, my life experience, and finding the silver lining in your golden years.
My most recent poetry I’ve published is in the anthology “The Emerald Coast Review XX and XXII”. My works in these anthologies include “Clowns”, “Waiting to Bloom”, and “Resiliency.” This publication is one of my proudest works and stands as some of the best poetry I have not only written, but have read from my fellow authors.
